How to create a Facebook Page

1. Login into Facebook
2. Follow this URL http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php
3. The following page will be displayed:

4. Choose the category that best suits your Facebook Page. Each of the Major Categories have different sub categories defined in them. Choose the best suited category, provide a Name (Company Name / Website Name), tick the checkbox and click on Get Started button.

5. You will be taken to the next page to provide additional information about the Facebook Page.

6. The 3 steps ask for
    A. Profile photo
    B. Get fans
    C. Basic info
You can continue in 2 ways:
=> provide these details now, or
=> 'skip' these steps for now, and take care of them later

7. If you choose to provide the details now, you can upload a Facebook page Profile photo from your computer, or Import it from your website. To import, click on 'Import a photo' link

Provide the URL of your website from where you want to import a profile photo for your Facebook page and click on Import button.

Photos from the website will be shown. Choose the one you want as your profile photo on Facebook page, and click on Select image button.

This completes Step 1: Profile photo

8. Click on Continue to move onto Step 2.

Although you can invite your friends to like your Facebook Page at this step, I do not recommend doing that at this stage. It should be better to Share this page with your friends when you have worked a little more on the Page. Uncheck the Share this Page on my Wall and move onto Step 3 by clicking on Continue

9. In Step 3: Basic info, provide the correct website your Facebook page represents, and also provide some text about the website/Page in the About box. Please note that the information provided here can be provided/changed later also.

10. Click on Continue to proceed to the Get Started page
